Privacy

This is a small studio website. I keep data handling simple and I do not track you across the web.

Analytics. I use a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool to see basic, anonymous visit numbers, such as which pages are viewed, the country, and the device type. It does not use cookies, it does not identify you, and it is never shared with advertisers.

Microsoft Clarity. If you accept in the cookie banner, I also load Microsoft Clarity, a tool from Microsoft that shows anonymised heatmaps and session replays of how pages are used, so I can improve the site. Clarity sets a couple of cookies and it only runs if you accept. If you decline, it never loads. You can read Microsoft's terms in their privacy statement.

Contact form. When you send a message, I receive and store your name, email address, message, the topic you choose (if any), the date and time, and your device's IP address. The IP address is kept with the message and used only to help prevent spam and abuse. The message is stored on my own server and emailed to my inbox. In most cases you will also receive an automatic email confirming that I have your message. I use this information only to reply to you, and I do not share it with anyone or use it for advertising.

Cookies. This site sets no advertising cookies, and no analytics cookies unless you accept them in the banner. If you accept, Microsoft Clarity sets a small number of cookies to measure how the site is used. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. Apart from that, the only things saved in your browser are your display preferences, your light or dark theme choice and whether background videos play, which stay on your device and are not cookies.

Your choices. You can change your cookie choice at any time. If you would like the message you sent me deleted, just email me and I will remove it. For anything about your data, reach me at info@chrislianopoulos.studio.
